About
I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering at Rice University, where I will work with Dr. Jamie Padgett. I recently completed my M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), advised by Dr. Mingang Gao at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). I received my B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Nanjing Tech University in 2023, advised by Dr. Lingzhi Li.
My research aims to develop innovative methods for smart and equitable infrastructure resilience. I am especially interested in advancing infrastructure resilience research from modeling analytics to predictive analytics and ultimately to prescriptive analytics, by integrating simulation-based surrogate modeling, machine learning, and operations research into a unified paradigm where these methods work synergistically rather than in isolation. Along this line of research, my work examines how interdependent infrastructure systems can be modeled, predicted, and restored under uncertain hazards, limited resources, and heterogeneous stakeholder preferences.
